Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be greeted by a Wild Rhythms Safaris representative.
Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay, where you will rest after your international flight.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic reserve famed for its iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Upon arrival, enjoy an introductory game drive as you soak in the park’s picturesque landscapes and wildlife diversity. In the late afternoon, settle into Mpingo Ridge Lodge, where you can unwind with sundowners on the terrace, offering panoramic views of the park.

Full-Day Safari in Tarangire
Spend the day exploring the rich wildlife of Tarangire, home to elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and an abundance of birdlife. Journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, set out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the lush highlands and traditional Maasai lands. Explore the Ngorongoro Crater
Today you’ll descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the caldera, home to an incredibly dense population of wildlife. Spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards—along with zebras, hippos, flamingos, and more. A picnic lunch is served near a scenic hippo pool before continuing your exploration.

Fly from Manyara Airstrip to Serengeti Lamai Airstrip
After an early breakfast, transfer to Manyara Airstrip for a scenic flight to Serengeti Lamai Airstrip.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation.
Begin your first afternoon game drive in the Northern Serengeti, renowned for the wildebeest migration.

Discover the Northern Serengeti
Arrive in the Northern Serengeti, a remote and wild corner of the park known for its breathtaking landscapes and wildlife density. Depending on the season, you may witness the edge of the Great Migration, where predators follow vast herds. End your day with a sundowner at camp, followed by a starlit dinner in the bush.

Wildebeest Crossings & Walking Safari

Fly Back to Arusha and Departure
After your final early morning game drive, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at camp.
Take a flight from Serengeti Lamai Airstrip to Arusha. Once in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international flight home.
Alternatively, if your flight does not leave until later or the following day, we can arrange for a day room or overnight reservation in Arusha.
