Arrival in Arusha – Safari Briefing & Overnight
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, your driver will meet and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and enjoy a detailed briefing about your upcoming migration adventure.
Arusha – Drive or Fly to Central Serengeti

Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Spend a full day tracking lion prides, elephants, and cheetahs across Central Serengeti’s plains. Watch for early signs of migratory herds. Enjoy lunch in the bush and return to camp by sunset.
Transfer to Northern Serengeti (Mara River Area)
After breakfast, enjoy a long but scenic drive (or optional flight) to Northern Serengeti. This area borders Kenya’s Masai Mara and is famed for dramatic river crossings. Overnight at a migration-season mobile camp.
Northern Serengeti – Mara River Crossing Watch
Spend the day near the Mara River, watching herds of wildebeest brave crocodile-infested waters. Your guide positions you near crossing points and predator territories. Return to camp for dinner under the stars.
Full-Day Game Drive – Northern Serengeti
Another full day exploring the migration front. Spot leopards, lions, and hyenas following the herds. Experience raw nature in action and enjoy an optional sunset bush dinner. Overnight at your mobile camp.
Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim Lodge
After an early morning game drive, depart Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop for scenic views or Maasai cultural experiences. Arrive at your crater rim lodge in time for dinner.
Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day Big Five safari. Spot lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos in this UNESCO-protected ecosystem. After lunch, return to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
