Sample Trip Outline

Arusha – Flight or Drive to Serengeti (Central or West)

Begin your safari with a transfer to Serengeti by road or air, depending on your package. Enjoy a game drive en route to your tented camp or lodge. Settle in and watch the savannah come alive at dusk.

Full-Day Game Drive in Migration Zone

Explore the migration corridor of the season (Central, Western, or Northern Serengeti). Follow wildebeest herds, elephant families, and hunting lions through the plains. Picnic lunch in the wild. Return to camp at sunset.

River Crossings or Predator Tracking (Seasonal)

During river crossing season, head to the Grumeti or Mara River for a chance to witness dramatic crossings. In other seasons, enjoy tracking big cats and observing the pulse of migration. Overnight at mobile camp/lodge.

Morning Drive – Move to New Migration Area (if needed)

Depending on herd movement, transfer to a new migration zone with game drives along the way. Enjoy stunning vistas and a different ecological zone of the Serengeti. Overnight in a new location.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Return to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Spot rhinos, lions, hippos, and elephants in the crater floor’s diverse ecosystems. After lunch, drive or fly back to Arusha for drop-off.
