Sample Trip Outline
Arusha – Drive to Central Serengeti
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Arusha to the heart of Serengeti. Along the way, witness changing landscapes from highlands to savannah. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive before checking into your camp or lodge.
Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration or spot predators in action. Picnic lunch is served in the wild, and the day ends back at your camp.
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim Lodge
After a sunrise game drive and breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Maasai villages or scenic viewpoints en route. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay with spectacular views.
Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha
Early breakfast, then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. The crater floor teems with wildlife, including endangered black rhinos. After your game drive and lunch, drive back to Arusha, concluding your safari.
